"It takes two to know one." George Bateson

You may be considering counselling or therapy for the first time, or to continue a journey of self-exploration. Sometimes, you may seem to be coping on the outside, while inside, feeling anxious, overwhelmed, overthinking or stuck. You may be impacted by difficult experiences in the past or present. Perhaps you hope to have a richer and more rewarding relationship with yourself and others. Therapy can help this, as we work together to make sense of your experience, identify challenges, and find your inner and outer resources.

I work sensitively with intersectional identities. I use culturally, racially, ethnically, LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent affirming practice. I'm work with the pressures of social inequities, masking and burnout. I hold a firm commitment to anti-oppressive practice.

I'm accredited by the UK Council For Psychotherapy (UKCP) and registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I follow their Ethical Frameworks.

I provide a warm and supportive space. Often, a chance to give voice to what's going on for you offers relief. Together, we can reflect on any difficult feelings you might have and any unwanted thoughts. We'll also discover and affirm your talents and strengths, as we travel the road to insight, growth and compassion. The aim is to make meaning and the capacity to live a fuller life.

I'm also a UKCP-accredited supervisor. Please see Supervision for further details.
