ABOUT ME

I’m a highly experienced therapist, having completed an MA/Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and at one of the leading therapy training institutions in the UK.

As well as working in private practice, I teach at Re-Vision, an Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy training institute.

I’ve worked at the East London Mental Health Service (previously MIND), an organisation offering counselling to the local community, as part of my commitment to inclusion. I've been a Specialist Mentor at Diversity and Ability (DnA), a social enterprise supporting disabled and neurodiverse adults. I've delivered telephone counselling to young people at Childline. I've worked with adults with long-term mental health issues, in supported housing or residential care homes, as part of the Forest Community Project. I work with and welcome clients from diverse backgrounds.

My first MA was in English Language and Literature at Oxford University. I previously worked in the fields of journalism, art and creative writing.

Authentic relationships enrich my life and my work. Genuine empathy, curiosity and warmth allow us to make soul connections. I hope to combine humility, wisdom and humanity. I’ve experienced in my own personal therapy the power of what therapy can offer. I’ve faced my own life challenges, and I've found compassion, care and creativity from my therapists. I aim to provide the same.

I believe we all have the capacity for transformation, and that this is a gift we're offered throughout our lives. Often, we have more than we know. We have riches that include our bodies, our breath, the ground beneath our feet and the sky above us. We can look inside, to discover our authentic selves, and look up, to see that we're part of something bigger than us.
