"It takes two to know one." George Bateson

You may be considering counselling or therapy for the first time, or to continue the lifelong journey of self-exploration and evolution. You may be in crisis, or in long-term distress. You may feel stuck, with the same patterns repeating themselves again and again, or have painful feelings related to difficult experiences in the past. Perhaps you hope to feel more fulfilled and balanced, with a richer and more rewarding relationship with yourself and with the people around you. Therapy can help this, as we work together to make sense of your experience, identify challenges, and find your inner and outer resources. An exploratory meeting to discuss your needs might help you decide.

I provide a warm and confidential space to support you in finding your own way. Often, a chance to give voice to what's going on for you offers relief. In the safe space we'll create together, we can reflect on any issues you might have, any difficult feelings, and any unwanted thoughts. We'll also discover, affirm and celebrate your talents, achievements and strengths, as we travel the road to insight, growth and compassion. The aim is to find meaning and the capacity to live a fuller life.

I'm a fully-qualified Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor, accredited by the the UK Council For Psychotherapy (UKCP) and registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I work from East London, in easy reach of North and Central London. I follow the UKCP Code of Ethics and Professional Practice and the BACP Ethical Framework. I'm a member of the Body Psychotherapy Network and an Approved Anxiety UK Therapist. I'm also a Supervisor. I provide supervision to trainee and qualified counsellors and therapists. Both psychotherapy and supervision enable people to grow and evolve. Please see my Supervision Page for further details.

I tend to work in a long-term, open-ended way. Some of the areas I can help with include depression, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship problems, intimacy issues, addictions, loss and bereavement, life transitions, existential concerns, sexuality and gender. Nothing shocks me, and I don’t judge. Please enquire if you want to discuss a particular area further.
