about me

I've lectured, train and facilitate groups at various counselling and psychotherapy organisations, including delivering modules on Race and Power and LGBTQ+ inclusion. I'm a BAATN (Black, African and Asian Therapy Network) Conference Speaker. I work with privilege, othering and intersectionality, using a creative and experiential approach.

As a dual heritage woman who grew up in West Africa, I have a special interest in BiPOC, mixed and multi-heritage experience. Previous workshops I've facilitated include ‘How the Dust Settles After Things Fall Apart,' exploring how European conquest has created global mixed-heritage groups; 'Facing into the Climate Crisis - Exploring the Ecological Impact of the Global North on the Global South;' and 'On Growing up a Multi-Heritage Child,' exploring young multi-heritage identities.

An upcoming workshop is 'Untold Stories: Mixed and Multi-Heritage Experiences and BIPOC Racialised Positioning' (The Therapy and Social Change Network, Jan 2026).

My recent publication on this topic, in the BACP Private Practice Journal Sept 2025, was titled, 'I cannot behave like oil or water when I am neither. I am both.'

I host a podcast series called 'Mixed Mirror: Multi-Heritage Conversations across Cultures and Generations.'

My first MA was in English Language and Literature at Oxford University. I previously worked in the fields of journalism, art and creative writing.
